boost::corosio::make_ipv6_address

Create an IPv6 address from a string.

Description

This function attempts to parse the string as an IPv6 address. It returns an error code if the string holds no valid IPv6 address.

Exception Safety

Throws nothing.

Return Value

The error code, empty on success, and the parsed address — default‐constructed on failure.

The return value should not be discarded.
